Dr. Cai’s research primarily focuses on geographic information science, disaster resilience, and socio-environmental sustainability, and environmental health.​

Hao Tian joined the research group in Summer 2023. He holds a Master's degree from Sun Yat-sen University. Hao's research focus on GIScience and environmental health.

Palash joined the team in Fall 2023. He received a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. He worked as an Assistant Professor at KUET before joining TAMU.

Nazmoon joined the team in Fall 2023. She received her Master's degree from University of Manchester, UK. She worked as an Assistant Professor in Geography and Environment at University of Dhaka, Bangladesh before joining TAMU.
